Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the eternal son of the Father. He is both God and man. Jesus was sent to earth by God and was born 100% man. He was tempted in every way, did many miracles, shared life with His followers and experienced suffering and physical death. He loved us so much that he sacrificed His life and accepted every man’s sin.
As the song states… Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus is the guide and the key that enabled us, humans to enter God’s family. We just have to believe in Him, accept and let Him live in our hearts. He is the truth for all that He said was truth. He is the life for He healed the sick and brought back the life of those who physically died and became man for our salvation.
I studied in a Catholic school when I was in elementary. I must admit that at first I was just holding a bible because of our subject Christian Living. I memorized prayers because it would appear in exams. I answered every assignment regarding the Jesus’ stories because we were told to do so. At first, I doubted about my Christian faith. But the subject helped me a lot. It taught me how to pray and introduced to me who Jesus is.
I believe that Jesus was born, lived, died and was raised from the dead. Through prayers, we can talk to Him anytime we want. We can tell Him all about how we feel. We can ask for His help and guidance just like what a human brother does. He loves us. He’s our Bro and Savior!
